This week it was the first Digitally Projected Image Competition of the new season of Winchester Photographic Society so I entered one of my favourite pictures. It was taken on the jetty at Russell in the Bay of Islands in New Zealand and was a grab shot - a second later the boys had dived into the sea!
The shot did not get placed as a winner but was in the final 10 pictures chosen out of about 25 entries.
Nice photo, so companionable, and I find myself imagining their conversation. Their hair is echoed in the tops of the posts, and the water makes a nice backdrop.
